· The idea behind Guilt began in 2003 after a conversation with a friend who had asked me if I could come up with a story which he could film as a short movie. With the estimated running time of the film in mind and the type of budget that would likely be used, I tried putting together a story which was simple in its purpose and which could be filmed on a moderate budget with a small cast & crew.

· The story was completed a few months later and work began on adapting my story into a script that could be filmed.

· In 2005, I returned back to the story and began re-drafting before starting work on Guilt 2 as I felt that there was still a lot of potential for the storyline and the characters that had survived the original part.

· Before I had even completed Guilt 2, I knew that I would be writing a third part although I didn’t know the specifics at the time.

· In 2006, I completed Guilt 3, although it was not at all how I envisaged it would end. I then set about getting it published as a trilogy of stories.
