Summary James Black is a serial killer believed dead, but somehow always Frank Thorn is a detective obsessed with the case and Everyone else is just caught in the middle. |
|
James threw Michelle into one of the fallen barbwire barriers. She landed on it and felt the barbs tear through her flesh, her clothes providing no protection at all. She continued to scream out in pain and tried to raise herself back off of the barrier with her one good hand. Frank reached James and plunged the knife into his side. James twisted away from the attack and the knife slid back out of the wound. Frank still held onto the knife, as it was his only weapon against the killer. James put his hand down to the cut in his side and felt the blood running over his hands. ‘Well done,’ he said to Frank. ‘Didn’t see that coming, but you’re going to regret it.’ Before Frank could make another lunge, James lashed out at him. His punch hitting him square in the face knocking him down to the concrete road. With Frank lying on the ground, James turned back to finish off Michelle. She was struggling to get back up again and had only succeeded in getting her upper half of her torso raised as she only had one good hand. Every move causing her more pain as the barbs from the barrier tore into her. James raised his boot and pushed it against the back of Michelle’s head forcing it back down into the barbwire. Michelle cried out in protest and pain. She tried to hold her head up against his foot but she didn’t have the strength. Her face was getting closer and closer to the barbs and there was nothing that she could do to stop it. With one final push of his boot, James forced her head right down into the barbwire. Michelle felt her face being torn apart by the barbs. One of her eyes burst as one of the barbs pressed in against it and she felt the eye fluid running down her face. James continued to push down until he could push no further. The screams finally stopped. |
